Dino Govender is Chief Information Officer of the WSG. As a member of the WSG Executive Council, he is responsible for overseeing all aspects of information technology, information security, data and analytics across the global reach of the WSG enterprise; this includes maintaining the computing application systems that support WSG Finance, Human Resources, Corporate, and Business Units. He also oversees WSG’s procurement systems and leads major enterprise efforts to drive common architecture and purchasing systems across WSG’s AG communities.

Mr. Govender has an extensive career in industrial and systems engineering, architectural design, portfolio management, process re-engineering, micro-finance and investment banking. Originally from Durban, South Africa, as CEO of JustDesigns Architecture, he was responsible for design and construction management of private residences, commercial and industrial facilities, and equipment. He has led the design and implementation of whole communities for low income homes in South Africa, ranging from 1000 to 10000 in size. He has also held key design roles in a large multi-national company, Unilever, including designing workflow and assembly processes for major product lines such as Vaseline and lifebuoy, overseeing the replacement of legacy manufacturing systems, control room and production line designing.
